Mission Impact
0
In November 2025, Pawsitive Care For All Tails successfully carried out our first international spay and neuter mission in St. Lucia. Over the course of three clinic days, our team provided high-quality veterinary care to animals who otherwise had no access to sterilization, pain control, or preventive medicine.
In total, 61 dogs received life-changing surgical care.
This mission marks the beginning of our long-term commitment to improving animal welfare across underserved communities.
📍 Mission Highlights
-
3 fully operational clinics set up in collaboration with local charities
-
60 dogs spayed or neutered and 1 splenectomy
-
100% received pain control & antibiotics
-
One major complications
-
Free post-operative care instructions provided to all owners
-
Volunteers trained in surgical prep, recovery, and animal handling
🐾 Why This Work Matters
St. Lucia faces significant dog overpopulation challenges. Unsterilized animals are more likely to:
-
Suffer infections and reproductive complications
-
Roam and get hit by vehicles
-
Spread preventable diseases
-
Produce unwanted litters
Each spay/neuter surgery prevents hundreds of future births, breaking cycles of suffering and improving public health for both animals and humans.
✈️ Community Impact
-
Reduced street dog population in clinic zones
-
Increased awareness of humane care
-
Strengthened local partnerships with pet owners and community leaders
-
Provided training for local animal caretaker
💰 Funding came from:
-

🔭 Looking Ahead – November 2026 Mission
Our goal: Increase the number of animals treated.
With increased funding, we plan to run:
-
More clinic days
-
Larger surgical teams
-
Expanded community education
-
Training opportunities for veterinary students
We are actively fundraising now to make this growth possible.
